[COMPILATIONS] Top 5 #Kpop Idols who were accused or rumored to be involved in sexual scandals

With the recent #metoo controversies, a lot of people are waiting and encouraging for any victims to move forward and exposed those people who have done sexual crimes towards their victims. It's started in Korean Entertainment then down to Politics. Even kpop idols are not exempted with this issue.

So for the past years, here's the top 5 idol members who were accused or rumored to be involved in sexual assault, molestation, etc.

1. Nu'est Baekho

Last June 2017, Nu'est Baekho was accused of molesting a girl on a bus ride back home from cram school eight years ago.

Pledis, meanwhile, has maintained their position of Baekho’s innocence and filed a civil case against the girl involved. Pledis haven't released any updates regarding this matter at this moment, so we better wait for verdict of the investigation.

2. Infinite Woohyun

It was reported also last 2017 that an idol was being accused of being involved in a sexual assault. Netizens immediately pinpoint Infinite Woohyun because of the picture included in the article described him.

But MyDaily later apologized for using the photo of Woohyun on their article. “We apologize for our carelessness in selecting the picture. We have immediately deleted it. Again, we apologize for our negligence.”

3. Shinee Onew

Last August 2017, Onew shinee was involved in a sexual harassment incident involving him and 5 of his friends in Club D in Gangnam.

But at the end, the charges have been dropped by the victim and later issued that it was only caused by a misunderstanding. Onew is said to have been drunk when he unintentionally made inappropriate physical contact with club-goer A two times, and A, a woman in her twenties, has retracted her police report.

4. JYJ Yoochun

Park Yoochun of JYJ was also caught up in a rape scandal last June 2016. A female worker at a bar claimed he raped her in the bar bathroom and soon after 3 more women pressed raped charges against him claiming that they were also raped in bathrooms by him.

He was found innocent on all rape charges and the first person who claimed he raped her was arrested along with her cousin for blackmailing him.

The police however now wants to charge Yoochun for fraud and soliciting prostitution since his DNA was found on one of the women's underwear, apparently text messages seem to show he was supposed to pay her for sex.

5. SS501 Kim Hyun Joong

The most famous case on this list was the sexual assault of Kim Hyun Joong towards his ex girlfriend last 2014.  She claimed that he beat her 10 times and forced her to have abortions. She also revealed pictures showing bruises and abusive texts messages between them where he acknowledged beating her and making her get abortions.

He pressed charges against her as well for blackmail, fraud, false accusations and defamation last July however recently she was found innocent of all those charges. The case was out of the limelight at the moment, but it was always brought up every time a new sexual scandal news is release.
